Aprodisias

Settled since the late Neolithic period, the city flourished because of its proximity to an offshoot of the Menderes River, which connects to the Aegian Sea. Close to a marble quarry, the city was able to build great monuments and became famous for its sculpture. The Temple of Aphrodite grew slowly in the Archaic and Classical periods,
and became a popular pilgrimage site around 800 BC.

Kaklık Cave (pamukkale underground)

Kaklik Cave was formed about 2.5 Million years ago
during the Pliocene Period by sulphurous thermal waters.
This cave development based on or at least heavily
influenced by sulfur resulted in extraordinary speleothems.
It is thus an exceptional cave.

Leodicea

Laodicea is an ancient city in present-day western Turkey, founded by Seleucid King Antiochus II in honor of his wife, Laodice.Laodicea became a prosperous Roman market town on the trade route from the East, famous for its woolen and cotton cloths.The city was an early center of Christianity and one of the Seven Churches of Revelation. In the 4th century, Apollinaris of Laodicea proposed the theory later called Apollinarianism, which was considered heretical by the Catholic Church.

Karahayit

The thermal springs in Karahayit Town, has consested by the most active geologic events.
The thermal springs in Karahayıt is creating travertines ,too as Pamukkale.
But, because of the iron rate in the water Travertenies became red and closer colours.
The thermal water’s temparature is changing between 23.3 and 57.5 °C.
